Concrete hardscape can be an economical, easy-to-install alternative to natural stone products for use in retaining walls, patios, walkways and driveways. Concrete pavers and wall block are available in a wide variety of dimensions, colors and surface textures. These products are usually installed on a compacted bed of crushed aggregate, and paver joints are filled with sand. Using no mortar, concrete pavers allow light rain water to permeate into the soil beneath.
